Doug Holtan was a featured speaker at HealthSpaces ’18.

 Doug Holtan is the Chair of the Department of Facilities and Support Services at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and is developing an Enterprise-wide Facilities organization. In this role, he has management and financial oversight responsibilities for Facilities Project Services, Architectural Design activities, Facilities Operations, Division of Engineering, Media Support Services, Healthcare Technology Management and General Services. Doug has been involved in a number of large building projects at Mayo Clinic which include the Gonda Building, Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center, and a number of other support buildings on Mayo’s various campuses in Rochester. Doug has been with Mayo for approximately 26 years and has held numerous administrative assignments which include management of Mayo’s internal management consulting arm and clinical operations.

Doug has a BS degree from Mankato State University and a MBA degree from the University of Minnesota. Doug is a native of Rochester, Minnesota. He and his wife, Betsie, have nine children.
